The Hydrangea print carries a story of family and craftsmanship. The hydrangeas were meticulously painted in watercolor by Lise, Audrée's grandmother, a professional watercolorist. LINEN CARE: Contrary to popular belief, linen is relatively easy to care for. But, like any textile product, it is best to follow the specific instructions for the fabric to prolong its life. This guide will help you take care of your linen pieces and keep them longer.

MACHINE WASH: Make sure to unfold the pieces well before putting them in the washer. Avoid overloading the washer, linen needs space to move! Prefer a delicate cycle wash with cold or lukewarm water. Use a mild detergent to preserve the linen fibers. Avoid fabric softeners and bleach, as they can alter the texture of the linen. A simple tablespoon of vinegar in the rinse cycle is a safe and natural fabric softener!

HAND WASH: Fill the sink or a container with lukewarm water and add a small amount of mild soap. Submerge the linen pieces and let them soak for about ten minutes. Gently move the pieces in the water, without rubbing. Remove the soapy water and rinse until there is no soap residue left. Do not wring the linen; remove excess water by gently pressing, then spread on a dry towel. Roll the towel with the linen on top, press the roll so that the towel absorbs the excess water.

DRYING LINEN: Air drying is preferred, outdoors or indoors. Pleat the edges and hems with your fingers before hanging to dry. If machine drying, remove the linen while it is still a little damp. Do not use fabric softeners in the machine; these products attach to the linen fiber and alter its properties.

IRONING LINEN (OPTIONAL!): Iron your linen while still damp for optimal results. Set the iron to high temperature with steam. Ironing dry linen at high temperature risks damage. Do not use fabric softeners in the machine.

STORING LINEN: Make sure your linen is completely dry before storing to prevent mildew. Store in a well-ventilated, dry, and sun-protected area. Avoid placing in plastic bags or containers; use pillowcases or linen bags to store your linen.

STAIN REMOVAL: Treat stains as quickly as possible! Heat sets stains. Only use hot water or the dryer once the stain is gone, unless otherwise indicated. Rubbing the fabric can damage the fibers. Blot or rub gently when necessary.
